SAARC insurance regulators' meet begins in Dhaka tomorrow



The first SAARC Insurance Regulators' Conference will kick off tomorrow in Dhaka.
The conference will discuss on ways for collaboration and exchange of ideas with neighbouring nations in the area of insurance business.
The Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority of Bangladesh
and Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina is inaugurating the two-day programme, where finance minister of Bangladesh AMA Muhith will be the special guest.
The conference that will also share experiences, know-how and opinions on insurance to improve the insurance sector in the region will have eight technical sessions where 15 presentations will be presented.

Insurance Board the regulator of the country is also taking part in the regional conference.
